| (Sighing in relief, Merry was happily relieving himself in the coalscuttle.)LOL Tonight, I was on line messing about and reading some of my older favourites and came upon this one. I know I reviewed it on the challenge site but that was a while ago. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I still adore this one. I was laughing out loud as I read it. Thank you for giving me so much entertainment this evening. And I know you won't see this for a while since your internets are sick, but it felt wrong to enjoy this and not say so. Cheers! | |

| Merry OWES Pippin for this Yule! And I love the song of the knickers. Very hilarious! And you managed to get the nakedness and the coal scuttle and all in there very well! | Oh I agree with BB's every word! Including the bit about laughing too much to review last night. I do pity whoever is going to have to do the cleaning and washing a Brandy Hall! And I can see the pictures and hallways being regaled with that wonderful song. Author Reply: Thanks! I am so glad that you enjoyed the story and it made you laugh! | *wheeze* *gasp* By the time I'd finished reading this I was giggling hysterically and my sides ached. The bit about the coal scuttle completely finished me. Marigold, this was priceless! Thank you for making my evening. I delayed reviewing until this morning, simply because I could not have strung two coherent words together! Oh dear, poor Merry - what a state to get himself into. And poor Pip, having to deal with it. I can only imagine the hangover the following morning. Ow! Terrific story - I always think hobbits know how to enjoy life.
