| Ellethill, you are simply WICKED to describe so thoroughly the misery of a too warm night. My husband and I sleep with a ceiling fan blowing full blast during the summer and I am still often too warm to sleep. I am with Bodkin in wondering why she didn't just strip off the stifling nightdress, or perhaps get up and empty a jug of water over herself (and if she was truly annoyed, over Faramir as well, LOL!) I love that as soon as she discovers how miserable he truly is as well, she relaxes enough to sleep. Too funny! Will there be more? Author Reply: Well, it's only the second night of suffering for her, and seriously, if you and I can go through the night without the need of such extreme measures (although kicking and screaming) then why couldn't Eowyn? Though it is possible she might resort to them later on, who knows? There might be more, in the sense that I would like to have the both of them deal with more types of weather (beautiful sunny days, showers, blizzards, etc) but the ideas have to come first :) Glad you liked this! | |

| Sigh, I know what you mean. I am typing by the light of my computer screen because even my bedside light makes the room feel hotter! Author Reply: Entirely true! Except for the computer screen there's not one light in my entire house (well, that and a TV in the other room) - and it's still too warm for comfort! Ack! I hope I'll be as lucky as Eowyn and the heat wave will be over soon... | |

| Ahh! I love hot irritable Eowyn and hot enduring Faramir. Perhaps Eowyn should throw convention to the winds and strip off the nightgown! Or perhaps she should take Faramir on a scandalous expedition to the fishpond and dunk the pair of them in cool water! I think I shall have to go and turn on the fan now - you have made me feel absolutely stifled. (And it isn't even that warm here!) Author Reply: *Snicker, snicker, snicker!* Glad you like them!
