HAHAHAHA! "You don’t live in a tree, do you?" That was great! Such a sweet little twosome of welcome home stories. I do wish they both were longer, because they were so good. *sigh* xoxoxox btw welcome home Queen Galadriel! ~Katie Author Reply: Mae Govannen, Katie! Hannon le for your sweet review! They were such a joy to write. My only regret was that, as you said, they were not long enough, nor did they convey the grand welcome I wanted for my dearest of friends. Oh well. I do hope this sufficed. I am glad you liked these stories, though. I did write another story like this, and it is longer. It is called, "A Piece of the Shire" in "The Miscellanious Writings of Frodo Baggins". You can check it out, if you like. Hannon le again for reviewing. *bowing at waist* Namarie, GOd Bless, Frodo Baggins

A sweet reunion! Love Frodo's impatience at his Sam's coming. I am sure he did indeed wait for that reunion before he even left Sam's arms in Middle-earth. I think too he wouldn't age normally in the West either or at least it wouldn't show. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Author Reply: Hannon le, Antane! I enjoyed writing this piece. I do not think they were long enough, nor did they convey what I wanted. Oh, well. At least I had something to give the Queen. Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Oh, dearest, you are so precious!!! :) I cheated; I'm not home yet, but nearly there. At least, I'm back with my family. Yes, I cried when I said my farewells today, but I can't wait to come home, be half killed by my over-enthusiastic pups, get on everyone's nerves because "you write too much," sing with my grandmother, and talk all night with you and argue about who's sleeping on the floor. LOL! Thank you for this oh-so-joyful double gift, my Frodo! God bless and the best love, Your Sam (even if I do bear a high name :) :)) Author Reply: *big sigh of relief* YOu liked them!! I was *so* worried!! This is the little "conspriacy" I had with Antane. :) It's alright that you cheated. You didn't really cheat. I mean, you're with your family, so that's home in a way. I'm sorry you cried. Nothing can take the place of the friends you've made, but you will never forget them, and you will see them in Heaven. YOu are most welcome for this gift. I fear it is not enough, but...*sigh* this will do. ;) Namarie, Im mil le, GOd BLess, Your Frodo I GET THE FLOOR!!! YOU GET THE BED!!! NO QUESTIONS!! SAY "YES MR. FRODO"!!

I like this a lot. I think it is a lovely notion, that Frodo could hear his loved ones from the Undying Lands, and of course he would be impatient, once he knew Sam was soon to arrive! Author Reply: Yes, I had to give Frodo some hope in the Undying Lands. I didn't think it was right to just drop him off without any contact with his loved ones whatsoever. Communication is how I survived moving several times. Namarie! GOd Bless, Frodo Baggins

This is pretty good--Sam probably was gone for about a month, if this is the spring of 1420. But he came back on or close to the 25 of March, and he and Rose were not married until May 1, so you may want to re-word that as "his betrothed" rather than "his new wife". I really like the part about grooming Strider, and Frodo's affection for the pony coming through--very lovely little touch!

It's me again! I forgot to answer a question you asked me when you recently reviewed one of my tales. Elemmírë means 'star-jewel' in Elvish. I chose it because I've always loved stars and my grandmother's nickname for me was her 'precious jewel' (because my name is Julie, and I'm her namesake). So, when perusing The Complete Guide to Middle-earth for a suitable username, Elemmírë was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for asking. :D P.S. Don’t worry, don’t worry. Sam will find out about the Thirteenth illness. But that’s for another story. You’ll just have to wait and see! :) -Frodo Baggins Oh, another story! Yeah!! Can't wait! ~Elemmírë~ Author Reply: I love hearing from you! I love stars as well. I remember vividly (and probably won't ever forget it) when we were camping in the mountains looking up, and feeling I could reach out and grab one of the shining little jewels and take it home with me. Up in the mountains, they are so very clear and I never knew that you could see that many of them at once! It took my breath away. And yes, it does sound like a very appropriate name for you. :) I like it. And no, not another story *exactly*, but I plan to write a chapter about that in a chapter in Part Three of my Forging of the Ringbearer trilogy. Namarie, and hannon le for reviewing! Lovely little glimpse at Frodo and Sam's long-awaited reunion. I really liked that Gandalf especially, was the one there to witness it "Let’s begin with a meal and then we can start at the beginning." How very hobbity to begin with a meal! LOL! P.S. Please pass this on to the Queen, in case she doesn't read this: Welcome back, Queen Galadriel!! You've been missed and it will be wonderful to hear from you again! (You have lots of reading to catch up on) :D ~Elemmírë~ Author Reply: Hannon le, Elemmire. I didn't think about how Hobbity it would sound, I just thought how hungry Sam probably was after that long voyage and living probably only on lembas - again! :D I will be sure to pass the message on to the Queen. She more than likely will read it, though. I would think Gandalf would pay especial attention to Frodo, only because in Middle Earth they were apparently pretty close. Namarie!
