| Hi! I just finished this 3-part story while being locked down, so thank you for writing it. I've always loved the Elvenking, so it was a pleasure to see him throughout the ages and not merely the third one. He has become a really powerful sovereign and I really like how you portray him. I was really saddened by the death of Lindoriel, but I suppose that makes Thranduil stronger and eager to fight the evil of Sauron. Please, keep up with the good writing. | Please continue this story as well as Swan song, theyre both geniusly written and much care is put in charachters as well as the environs. Some of the best I have seen in fanfic! Conquistadora, I am so glad that you have begun to upload again. I read all three parts of "We Were Young Once" for the first time last year, and I am planning on reading them again this year. Thanks for your amazing contributions to the world of Tolkien fan fiction! I know that this is a rough time for everyone with Christopher Tolkien's death, but stories like the ones that you write have helped me through that. | Every time I think this story can't be better you prove me I am wrong!!! You made me feel like nothing else mattered but reading this story! I am with Thranduil in healing Halls and watch him help the ill. What happens to the boy and a father? Will any dragons appear? Excellent characters, loads of action and a deep well developed world I do not want to leave. Read this chapter during my break as waiting for going home seemed like ages to me:D.
