| Legolas is such a good and wise friend to have around! He knows Aragorn will not rest until he releases some of this pent-up grief, and he goes about helping in such a subtle way. Reminding Aragorn of how Mithrandir was there for him when he was a child, and through memory he will remain with the man. A very touching story, Dot! Once more, the emotions come through loud and clear! linda Author Reply: I’m woefully bad at thinking of plots and am always amazed at those who manage them so well so I’m delighted that you’re finding that the emotions of the characters seem real, because it’s something I’m really interested in. Although, looking at your reviews, I’ve just realised how much angst I write! Maybe I should try something different ;-) I liked the idea of some history between Aragorn and Gandalf and wanted to have Legolas help his friend in a less obvious way than just talking to him but still let him know that he understands what he’s lost as well as offering some comfort.
