Author Reply: Uh-huh. Those devious Tooks. Tolly may be a bit slow to speak, unless he's well limbered up with spirits, but he's been rubbing elbows with some of the best-skilled of the lot, at diverting attention that is, for some years now...

And he really is doing this for Mugwort's own good.
