And, yet another thing I would never have thought of -- conversations w Celebrimbor. (Sounds a bit like a talk show when you say it that way, right? :-P) Very intriguing concepts he has...

Hmm...yes, I can kind of see being a little creeped out by the concept of Ulmo being in all the waters watching all the time -- but I guess it's really no different than in any other water, since Ulmo always remained w the water even in ME... It's so random to think of just scattering jewels in the sand. I know it's canon....but just so far away from how we think...

That's so great! :-) Where do you come up w these things -- I never would have thought of something like this, but how wonderful! I could just picture her, your descriptions were so very realistic (inching forward, tail wagging). It's like seeing a housecat in the movements of the lion you're watching on TV... Author Reply: Thank you so much! I love providing Frodo with a dog, whether in Middle-earth or the West. I'm so glad the descriptions brought you into the scene with them.

Why haven't I found this story before? This was wonderful and sweet, and the descriptions of the Blessed Realm were lovely, as in all your other stories from the West. Seeing all this from a Mortal viewpoint makes it so easy to imagine, I could almost smell the flowers and the Sea! Author Reply: Oh, thank you so much! I'm pleased you enjoyed this so. I did quite a bit of research (and enjoyable imagining) for this tale. :)

I love this story. It made me feel very joyful and peaceful, and reminded me of some things and people in my own life I love. :D Author Reply: Oh, what a lovely thing to say. Thank you! I enjoyed writing this story very much.

Hello Shirebound, Hah! I knew it - Mummy time! It was almost as wonderful to read Bilbo's excitement as it was to read of the family reunion. And touching to read that Frodo and Celebrimbor gave each other the strength to release the Rings. Success at last for them both, I hope they found their peace (I'm sure they did!). This was a delightful tale of Frodo and Bilbo's first months/years in Tol Eressea. Your descriptions of the place gave it an ethereal quality that I imagine the realm to have (were it real). The characters were sympathetic, the story engaging - and I really love that dog! Great work!! M ;) Author Reply: Thank you, I'm so happy you enjoyed the story! I love writing about the hobbits' time in the West, which I envision to be healing, peaceful, and full of new experiences for them.

Hello Shirebound, I'm smiling at the thought of Elrond bursting into song. And at the delightful surprise to come! M ;) Author Reply: This was such a fun chapter to research, and write. :)

Hello Shirebound, It's very fitting that the Ringbearer and the Ring(s)forger seek healing in this manner. A second chance for both of them! Lovely work (as always). M ;) Author Reply: Thank you very much. It's very special when young and old can come together so both can learn from (and teach) the other.
