| I liked your thoughts on the Elessar stone. Author Reply: Mostly they are restatements of what was written in Unfinished Tales (or at least I think it was UT where I read about it). But to try to understand why Aragorn took such an odd name must have been somewhat difficult for many individuals. | |

| Ha, I knew it, there is something going on between Denra and Alvric! They’re on the way to romance, no doubt. This ambush against Alvric is the perfect occasion for Denra to fuss over him :-) Now I begin to wonder where they will end up – Bree or Minas Tirith ... particularly as Denra is interested in the Archives there. They’re sweet together. At least Boboli has his papers, and this problem is solved. Though I think there still is Bartolo to be convinced of certain things ;-) I look forward to know what will happen to the villains. Author Reply: Yes, now the two of them are truly beginning to appreciate one another. And there's nothing like having someone threatened to realize how much you appreciate them. As for where they might end up--that's still to be determined. Boboli finally has his lease. As for Bartolo--he still has a good deal to learn. As for the trials for these villains--the chapter's been written and should be posted in a day or two. | |

| So the contract is signed, we are about to see what the King's magistrates are like at work and the romance is blossoming. A satisfying chapter all round. And Dreamflower has found a little plotbunny alurking! *hands it dandelions and carrots to help it grow big and strong*. Author Reply: Yes, the contract is signed now and three villains will shortly be brought before Lord Halladan. And Alvric and Denra are beginning to realize they like one another. | Yay! for Alvric and Denra! Matchmaking again, Larner, I see! *grin* Hmm...will Alvric remain in the North? Or will he take Denra to live in the King's City? "brave as a hobbit". Hmm...I can see that phrase passing into common use in Gondor, where it might be said of some person or creature that they were "brave as a hobbit"...especially if it were in reference to something small being brave, like Holby! In fact, you've given me a bunny... I look forward to seeing Cotman get his due... Author Reply: Well, you know I like matchmaking, Dreamflower! As for how they will handle things--that remains to be seen. Cotman's sentence just got written this morning, and ought to be posted in a few days, probably from Portland just before I meet Lindelea and the girls and friends for tea. YAY! I managed to send a bunny your way! Hooray! Now, to see what how it manages to chew up your leg before it's written out. Those that have fastened on me are turning up all over the place, one nuzgul sitting on top of the true crime bookcase, and another playing about the stream that runs along the eastern border of the property. I have to watch out for that one, as it attacks me in the middle of the night. Likes to sneak in through the window where the cats tore the screen out and that they use to go in and out, I find.
