| I liked that very much, especially at the end -- Frodo's thank-you to Smeagol. He really was the only one to see any good in Gollum and to actually trust him--a gift Gollum surely felt. I also liked how Frodo ended his thanksgiving with "I am ready." That simple statement showed well how he needed to express his gratitude and recognize the web of aid and friendship that was woven all around him. Thank you for this. | |

| I could see Frodo writing such a letter of thanks. I especially like how Frodo expressed his appreciation to Boromir, Smeagol, and all of the soldiers who died to buy him time. | |

| If no one else remembers you and gives you their blessing, take mine, such as it is. I was thinking about Gollum before I reached the last paragraph. And there he is. Of course, Frodo calls him "Smeagol" as he's always done. Really beautiful! Thank you, Rowan!
