| So that's how Pippin found Merry - very interesting and that he had a glimpse into the future too. Most encouraging for them both. Ties in very nicely with his vision of Aragorn following them also. So Frodo's not the only one touched with special insights and visions. Love this - "Of course, I know you have a great deal to say too, but I shan’t bother you with questions now. Instead I think I’ll take advantage of the situation and force you to listen to me.” Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: I'm fascinated by the idea of the Took Sight, and I think it is a plausible explanation as to how Pippin found Merry so quickly in Minas Tirith. Aside from his vision of Aragorn tracking the Uruk-hai, Pippin also somehow knew that Aragorn was on the Corsair ships, so I think there is canon evidence that Pippin has some sort of second sight. | “We’ll all be together again soon, I just know it.” “Do you See it?” Merry murmured. Pippin thought a moment. For an instant an image sprang to mind, of four small figures sitting together in a great field of green. “Yes,” he said quietly. “Yes Merry, I do.” That made me smile like Merry :) It is very comforting to know that Pippin *saw* that all four of them would meet again. | Knowing Pippin Sees it is comforting, I'm certain. Author Reply: I'm fascinated by the Took Sight, and it's always a joy to write.
