Oh, how wonderful a look at Theoden's last few days, all surrounded by the glory he has truly deserved and of which he was almost robbed totally by Wormtongue.

I think Tolkien contrasts Denethor and Theoden well, in how they spend their last days and am glad Theoden died with honour and glory.

Another first-rate drabble, showing Theoden's darkness and then his healing by Gandalf. Liked the phrase "The children of his House."
