| This is a wonderful story. I especially like the ending with Boromir. How unlikly that it is him who bonds with Frodo - and yet not. They have indeed a lot in common. Author Reply: Thank you, Lily! I'm glad you enjoyed it. This was written in response to a challenge, so I had to tie Boromir into it somehow, and I think it worked quite nicely. | |

| A very interesting juxtaposition of Frodo the young Hobbit leaving off his mourning to return to the Hall, and then the Man realizing he and Frodo have the loss of beloved parents in common, and that Hobbits are as true a people with joy and grief to match that known by Men. I do feel this story somehow needs some expansion, although I'm not certain precisely how--it just feels a bit incomplete. Author Reply: Hi, Larner. Thank you for the comments. I feel the same way, that the story needs expansion. I might do that at a later date, and add more chapters to make a more complete story. It was written for a challenge, so I had to tie in the last part with the first part somehow, and this is what I came up with :) | |
