| I truly enjoyed this glimpse of three-year-old Frodo. He was such a sweetie. Your explanation of Drogo's financial situation was very interesting and quite plausible. I love Bilbo in this story. It's wonderful to think that he had made provisions for Frodo even before adopting him. | |

| "It's fwree!" Frodo proudly held up three fingers, "Like me – I'm fwree now!" *gets warm fuzzies* I like the way the little hobbits talk. So entertaining, and so realistic I can hear their li'l voices! Besides the fact that this is a well-written tale about little blue-eyed Frodo, my favorite, ;) I like seeing Frodo's parents interact with Bilbo. And of course who could not like the contrast of Frodo peacmaking with the little Gamgee's more violent battling? ;-D Wonderful. | |

| I loved all these chapters - so sweet to see our favourite hobbits as little ones. I liked the foreshadowing too, with little Frodo putting the elf and dwarf on the same horse! The Gamgees were wonderful and young Merry and Pippin so cute I want to take them home! Saradoc ranting and Rory full of admiration for the 'ship off the old block' made me roll up! | |
