What a thrill Haleth to find another one of Haleth and Inglor's adventures, they are one of my favorite fanfiction pairings and I think you are a brilliant writer. :) Author Reply: Thank-you Glory Bee Haleth

ok ,I give up . Who did the sword belong to? Author Reply: The sword was originally known as Aranruth. It was Thingol's sword and then went on to become one of the great artifacts of Numenor. It was supposed to have been destroyed when Numenor sank and Ar-Pharazon's army was destroyed. Thanks for reviewing. Haleth

I'm surprised Inglor is interested in following haleth. Is it just his curiosity or does he somehow now feel responsable for her? In any event for a Noldorin elf he does not seem very quick on the uptake does he? Author Reply: Haleth doesn't quite understand it herself, but there's no way she'd ever ask him directly. Inglor seems oblivious to all of Haleth's signals. The idea was that, as he's from a completely different culture, he doesn't pick up on many of the social cues that Haleth takes for granted. He just doesn't make the same assumptions that she does. It leads to a great deal of miscommunication (which I totally pump). There's also a bit of the standard male/female talking past each other. He does seem oddly resistant to learning. Or he might have clued in and now does it for his own reasons...whatever they might be. Thanks for reviewing and making me think. Haleth

I do love Inglor and Haleth's relationship. Even though it must be very frustrating to both of them sometimes. And they're more than the M-e Raiders of the Lost Ark - sending special artefacts off to the uttermost West for safe keeping. But I agree with Haleth that some happy songs would make a pleasant break - for both of them! Author Reply: Thank-you, Bodkin. Haleth certainly finds the relationship frustrating. Inglor likely does, too, although it's difficult to tell. I'd imagine the elves have happy songs. We just hear about the sad ones because they tend to make better stories. Thanks again. Haleth

That was delightful! I hope you have more of the adventures of Haleth and Inglor up your sleeve! Author Reply: Thank-you, MMB, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. There's at least one more tale in the works. Thanks again. Haleth

I apologize for the delay, but still have not internet connection at home, and still quite short of time. I msut say that I enjoyed this thoroughly. YOu write action and adventure with that dry, sparse economy of words that every sentence is charged with visual humour and double and triple meanings. HAleth and INglor are at their best here, and I really loved the historical background of CAstamir's heir thrown in for canon accuracy. NOw you have me wondering about the blade that Haleth was wielding? Aranruth against...? Author Reply: You apologize for the delay? I look at the calendar and blush. It's Aranruth versus Caranthir's sword. I'm going on the premise that the two swords would 'remember' each other from the second Kinslaying. It's a bit far fetched, I'll admit. Sorry! There's probably a very brief story of how she found it and how she kept it hidden from Inglor for all those miles.
