| Wow! Horrible but wonderfully written. Makes the heart ache that it's so accurate because that is exactly what it did - he did - to every bearer, nothing less than rape. A warning for *everyone* in *this* Age to heed as well for the devil has not changed his tactics from one age to another and Sauron was but a servant of that one. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: I must admit that before I was drawn into Tolkien's world, I simply thought the Lord of the Rings was a petty movie about a piece of jewelry. I was quite wrong...very wrong. I view the ring and Frodo's journey as a person's daily temptations in their walk--some people struggle with this or that, and I myself still face such trials. But if we prevail, the reward is much greater than what the world could ever offer. I appreciate the comment, Antane. :) ~Calenlass | |
