What a sweet, happy story, and just perfect for Mother's Day. I especially love how Primula thinks of Drogo and Frodo as her "two" lads. :) Author Reply: Hannon le, dear shirebound! Glad you enjoyed. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

A sweet tale about a sweet day. I hope that Frodo remembered it later or that Bilbo told him of it. Loved the dream song too. Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear! I thought it was interesting to tie in the song, heard already in childhood. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

*melts under the influence of fluff* :) "Even more than mushrooms!" *giggles* Only Frodo would come up with that! :D "Those poor mushrooms," the elder hobbit said with a sad shake of his head. "I thought you loved them more than anything in the world." "I love to eat them more than anything, but I love Mama and Papa and you more than them." "Those poor mushrooms," the elder hobbit said with a sad shake of his head. "I thought you loved them more than anything in the world." "I love to eat them more than anything, but I love Mama and Papa and you more than them." LOL! Frodo's such a darling, and love Bilbo's sense of humor! :) And of course I love the mushroom on top of the cake! Again, only Frodo...:) Drogo and Primula would probably be able to read, both being members of genteel families in the Shire. But I love Frodo reading aloud to them. How it pleases kids to do that! :) It was many years later when after a night of rain, Frodo heard from across the water the song he had often dreamed of and sang in his childhood. He looked up at Bilbo and Gandalf and smiled a little. He was too weary for it to reach his eyes yet, but the song reached into him and soothed him. It was even lovelier than he remembered it from before. But he still thought his mother’s voice was better. Oh, that's so sweet it makes me want to cry! A wonderful way to end this tale. I love it. Everything is so natural and sweet and comfortable. For having established your reputation as angst-maven, you certainly write some of the loveliest fluff! :) Thank you, dear, for a delightful read! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Hantanyel, ammelda for such a lovely review! As far as angst and fluff, maybe I have a split personality - yes, my precious, maybe we do. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane
