Oh, that is a really good story. Enjoyed every bit of it so far. Please continue soon and let us know what will happen with Frodo.

This story is so suspenseful. The excitement does not stop. You do a wonderful job of keeping the story moving. Your depiction of the characters is very true to their characters. I was relieved that Frodo had been found, but how will he be saved from the poison? You do intend to save him, I hope. Please?

Dear Budgielover,
This story is awesome. I actually read your stories and write my own on Fanficion.net, but I hoped that if I sent you a message here that I could mentally prod you into writing the next chapter before I cry! This story is so good, and poor Frodo! *hugs Frodo* I hope they can save him. Please write more soon!

Ayayayaayeee! The worst they can hear--their cousin and closest friend dying of poison! Now, can anything counter the poison? We wait to see.

Oh NO!!!!

I think I have asked this before, several times. You are not writing an AU story, are you?

If you don't, there will be a way to save Frodo from dying. But I just can't see how! The poison is already in his veins. How to get it out?

I'm just taken with your Merry, trying to protect both, his older and his younger cousin.

And Pippin saving Boromir - just wonderful!

Those water goblins surely are nasty creatures. Are you suggesting that Gollum has become one of them over the years? Well, similar living conditions, long enough time... I guess it's possible.

I love how you portray Boromir. And Legolas. And Gimli, too. But now it's time for the King's hands to become hands of a healer, eh?

No . . . no

He can't die. Nope. Sorry Budgie.

"Gandalf was kneeling in the dirt, tears shining in his eyes, his arms wrapped around something which left mud-caked smears on his robes, but there was nothing in his hold."

Wonderfully said!

Why do I find myself chuckling as I reach the end of the chapter? No, it's not because I'm enjoying Frodo's peril, more that I seemed to hear in the back of my mind a combined chorus of "AUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!"

I expect it's the readers who waded through a very visual, tautly written chapter, full of lots of great details.

And would this be a bit of foreshadowing, coming back to bite us when the poison's been dealt with and the reader begins to relax?

But he has other evil things under his command. These will be drawn to the power of the Ring.

(Re-reads mental note to self, written while reading an earlier Budgie story: Never, *never* relax until you see the "complete" sign on the summary and you're reading the final chapter... and even then, you never know...)
