Awww, very sweet.....I love the thought of Faramir weaving cloth, and the quotes from the song, which I've seen somewhere before, are delightful. A lovely little piece. ~~~~{~@ Author Reply: Thank you for your kind comments! The song is actually a short poem I wrote, for the "Cold" challenge at tolkien_ weekly. Several of us became involved in writing stories about Boromir's cloak, and Finduilas, and later Faramir, weaving the cloth. It's great fun to be involved in that kind of synergy with so many great writers.

His father’s love, interwoven with the colors and scents of home;charms of wisdom and grace. Ohhh, how lovely. Author Reply: Thank you! I wanted to incorporate his mother's healing herbs, as well as his father's love made tangible in the form of the coverlet. The scent of the lavender, and the softness of the weave, all outward signs of how much Elboron was cherished by his family.

Oh, so lovely, Ann. As usual, you say so much in so little! Author Reply: *beams* Thank you so much for this lovely feedback this evening! I started out as a drabbler; short as this piece is, it still feels like an infinity of words to me. I'm very happy that I was able to convey what I meant without tripping over those extra syllables.
