| This is a lovely story. Both Elrond and Gilraen truly understood grief and pain, and the strength it took to face another day. They would have been able to understand one another without words. I really wanted Gilraen and Elrond to share their grief but I tried really hard to not have the cliched ending to the story. Hopefully I did. :-) | |

| What a way to end it. I couldn’t wait to click the next chapter then realized that there was not one. The playfulness of celebrian and Elrond was priceless. I can see them sneaking around and what a firecracker Celebrian was sweet as she was spicy. How interesting the idea of Elrond and Gilraen, exploring something more romantic . I can see how loneliness would make him vulnerable. How could Elrond deny Estel, Arwen when he is trifling with Gilraen. That wouldn’t go over none to well. Author Reply: I reworked the ending and I think it works better. Hope you like it. Still haven't decided if the story is complete yet. | |

| I often wonder how Elrond endured so many years with Celebrian - I know the Elves view time differently but it must have been hard for him. I love your Elrond and Gilraen - you capture them perfectly. Both have Estel's well-being at heart and have grown fond of each other. I like picturing Gilraen in charge of Rivendell. Sorry it took me so long - *ahem* | |

| My review is quite simple. May I please have some more? Very little seems to have been written about possible relationships within Rivendell, much less between Elrond and Gilraen. You have a fresh premise and good writing skills. Thank you and I so hope to read more soon. Author Reply: UT frog! I'm glad you like the idea! Yeah! I have often wondered about the kind of relationship that would exist between Elrond and Gilraen. Some kind bond I would think exist. Also Elrond and Celebrian and the effect it had on Elrond and his children. So I have decided to explore it a little bit. Thanks for reviewing! MM | |
