Oh, this was very amusing, in a light-hearted, witty sort of way. I particularly chuckled about Elladan saying that Aragorn washed up quite well.

That was humorous and a lovely moment between the "brothers". Lovely!

Aw. I do love seeing the Twins being Aragorn's big brother - helping him and insulting him.

What a wonderful vignette! A lovely thing to read at the end of a day. I thought the interaction b/w Aragorn and his brothers was perfect, not overly done, too familiar or too formal. And I just loved that they made him blush! It was quite appropriate too, as I would imagine a man like Aragorn would not be expected to even make jokes of being experienced enough to "not need advice." Well done! docmon Author Reply: Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed this. I like to write Aragorn and the twins together, but at least here they're treating him as an adult and equal! Elrohir was quite daring to make the joke - the twins would be equally inexperienced if you follow canon.

That was awsome! The twins make me laugh till I cry...."When you put if like thatit sounds faintly incestuous" that was deffintately(sp?) my favorite line. Again it rocked my knee high socks! Author Reply: *Grin* I'm glad you liked that line - I think it was my favourite too :)

Heheh.....cute.....I thought of King Arthur's song "Wonder What the King is Doing Tonight" from Camelot...Yeah, poor old Aragorn, this is soooo not what he's used to...now he's the KING! Eeeeekkkk!!!! And yeah, marrying his sister....!!! But he'll get used to it eventually......heheh....... ~~~~{~@ Author Reply: Poor Aragorn - it must have been a terrible culture shock to change from being the scruffy ranger to immaculate King. He needs the twins to help him make the change!

Very cute. Author Reply: I hope you like this! It's your birthday fic on HASA - it wouldn't fit into a drabble. It's got Aragorn as King, and at least a mention of Arwen - but then the twins turned up, and wouldn't let Faramir or Éomer in!

Poor Aragorn. After fourty years of waiting, he *had* to be nervous, and I am sure his new position and all these strangers giving him unwanted advice didn’t help at all. Fascinating how easily Elladan got rid of all these people. But of course, as son of Elrond he’s used to wielding authority. And the twins seem to be quite good at chosing an outfit for a Royal Wedding. You know, blending the colours of Imladris and Minas Tirith is just perfect. “When you put it like that, it sounds faintly incestuous,” That’s what I thought sometimes – what would people think, who hear him calling the twins ‚brothers’ and know Arwen is their sister, but nothing more? ;-) Lovely ficlet, Jay! It brightened a rather frustrating day at work considerably.

Thank you for a great start to my day. I love any wedding stories. Having just seen my son marry less than a month ago, the groom's nervousness rang true. I think there are many untold wedding stories, both book and movie verse to account for what we saw or hoped to see. Your addition was most welcome.

Hi Jay! I enjoyed this story... poor Aragorn! It must have been such a relief to have older brothers who could rescue him from fawning and smothering courtiers.... I liked the crack about the marriage sounding faintly incestuous... LOL! Nice job! - Barbara, who tends to be favorably disposed toward E&E....
