| Aha! Indeed a shapeshifter! And one intent on learning what he can of the One Ring while the true Elrond is away! Now, to find out who he is. (I don't have ALL the HoME books, unfortunately.) Author Reply: Your guesses were all correct. And now I can come out from hiding. :) One Ring? This one has his eye on something not-so-powerful... I don't have all the HoME books, either.
