A sacred object indeed, and reason for keeping it in a place of honor. Thank you, Ithil-valon. Author Reply: Thank you for your review for The Horn that was Broken, Larner. I appreciate you leaving a note. Hugs, IV

A touching little story, but I find "Puss" a very curious and unsuitable nickname for members of the male Gondorian nobility, being a nickname for a girl.Tolkien only gives the hobbits shortened names and there is no record of the Gondorians having pet names. I liked your portrayal of Faramir enjoying fatherhood and making a better father than Denethor. Author Reply: Thank you for reading the story and leaving a review for The Horn that was Broken. I'm sorry that you find that a pet name between brothers or a father and son would be unsuitable, but that is how I prefer to see them. That is the beauty of fan fiction...that we can each bring a bit ourselves to the story, and that is, I believe, what Tolkien would enjoy also. IV
