A Little Nudge Out of the Door  by Jocelyn 2 Review(s)

Phew, very tense. The elf that was unseated was a favourite, so either he will get Legolas back or there will be a draw or repercussions or something. C won't mind losing to him - he obviously has before :)

I like the wagering and general rambunctiousness of the elves (even if I secretly think this is a wood-elf rather than Sindar or Noldor "thing" - still nice to see Galadriel having a good time!)

Thank you.

OK that was exciting. You did such a good job of the importance of focusing and what it feels like to be in a competitive situation.
Lots of pressure on Legolas. I am sure they all feel pressure but his pressure seems to come from within, the need to strive for perfection. The what if's and nightmare scenarios. So true. That's what competitiveness is all about. You hate it and love it at the same time.
King Thranduil's neutral expression but I bet he's busting his buttons inside.
Legolas has a good attitude about taking things one step at a time and not borrow worry from the future events. Just do the best you can at the moment.
I see the Istari is really getting into the spirit of things. He can use his powers to see who is doing a good job.
OOP. OK so he's not perfect.
His father thinks he is young and still has a lot to learn. If I remember he was the youngest of the four friends so that would be true.
Wow those elven senses. To be aware of which horse is following you. Too cool.
You did such a great job writing the obstacle course. Suspense and excitement. I could really put myself there by thinking of the Olympics.
Thank you for an excellent chapter.
