| That was such a wonderfully written chapter. The atmosphere in the village was just...(shudder). This is turning into my favorite story of yours, which is really saying something, considering how much I love the original Green Knight story and A Fleeting Glimpse of Shadow. I look forward to the story's continuation, and await the next chapter with patience (or at least concealed impatience). | |

| Oh my! I think there's more to this villain recognizing Legolas' party than mere reputation. It's clear he's inviting them into a trap! This was a very shuddersome and ominous chapter. I can't begin to fathom what happened to that village! | |

| This is an incredible chapter, the description of the terrible things that must happened in the village anf farms and what was left to our imagination, make me really scary and worry for our friends. Don't let that evil man get close to Tamin!! I hope that they find some elves or dwarves in Esgaroth, I'm worry for Taranduil too, well I'm worry for the whole Middle Earth after being introduce to Malbeach, I know that you like Ivanhoe and romance literature, but you can compite with Stephen King when writing your bad characters. Hope that Galas take the Ithilien elves and soem help from Faramir and ride to Mirkwood with help, Legolas party is not fit alone for this adventure, that already happen in the Heir of Meduseld, I think...Can wait for more chapters...Thanks again for thsi story and I hope that everything is OK with you. | Very sorry to hear about your bereavement. Something like that makes fanfic seem incredibly insignificant, doesn't it? This chapter is up to your usual quality. How foreboding in the beginning, how frightening in the end! This Malbeach is an unsavory fellow. I don't like it that he knows all about Legolas and Gimli and even Bandy. What's Malbeach been up to that even the ground vomits? And his little comment about Tamin being pretty--it was rude coming from Fastred's friends, but it's down-right revolting coming from this man who presumably ordered/approved certain deeds that made Legolas, Gimli, and Kaimelas so angry. My satisfaction comes from Bandy's assuring Tamin as to what his Master does to liars of Malbeach's brand. That sounds good. Too bad we can't do that today. | |
