The Green Knight and the Master of Esgaroth  by Le Rouret 4 Review(s)

Dear Le Rouret, I have devoured all your stories posted at SOA in the last four days. It was quite a treat for me! You have a very unique style, and your love for the Elves, as well as the interesting culture of knights, is very obvious. These Elves I could definitely see sitting in trees in Rivendell mocking Bilbo by singing "Tra La La Lally!" They are beautiful and terrible as well.

This latest story of yours is very dark in places, so I am glad I am coming into it now, when most of the angst has been resolved, and it looks like better times are ahead. I am looking forward to the finish though, to see Tamin reconciled with Fastred, and perhaps a bit of pain if Legolas writes to Pippin about the tragic death of his nephew. Made me cry. I hope your personal troubles will let you write more soon.

I was so excited to see an update. It is never too late. And it was well worth the wait. Bard was delightful. He is so unsure of himself. I like his fantasy about Durfinwen. And Legolas' attack on Bard and Tamin was such a treat. I can just picture it. I was glad to see Aragorn show up and give Legolas a fright. Erk! I am only sad that this story is almost over. Have you got some other bunny stirring around in your brain?

Le Rouret, I'm glad that you are back and glad that your life is back to normality. Take care of yourself, I'm sure that we can wait years for you to update.

I have missed you a lot. There is not one here that describes a medieval court like you and your Legolas and friends are very real to me.

So, it seems that things are taking its curse once again, and Aragorn is there to help. So, Meivel and the two ladies were running off form Galas. Eveybody was doing all in secrecy. Poor Bard, to young and scared, a lot of responsibility in his shoulders, he will need all the help he can get.

It seems that the whole world is in love with Durfinwen, but still, I want her for Legolas (do you remember our vote some years ago?)

Tamin has been the great surprise, so mercurial, so brave. I remember Fastred's vision of him as a knight; he will be a such a brave and merry knight. Also, I can wait to see him a love, he is so innocent about that, I just re-read the tale and was laughing with Faramir's daughter nursing him.

Legolas has to hurry; there is a baby in his way waiting for him. I was surprised not to see Faramir (I was waiting him, not Aragorn) they parting was so emotional; they do have a great friendship.

Thanks again for posting. I love this story and take care.

I've missed this story! :) I loved this chapter - Tamin's introduction of Aragorn at the end had me giggling - can't wait to read more!
