| Oh I do love this one. (("Nonsense!" Merry chortled at the very idea. "I could give lessons, in fact I have, to you in particular! Why, I was thinking of writing a book on the subject!")) That sounds very like a Knitted Merry line there. I love the fact that Pippin just jumps right in so to speak and lets Boromir have it. More than that I love the fact that Boromir not only recovers quickly but manages to be very diplomatic in his judging. One might think that Boromir had judged such a contest before. I do think he enjoyed himself but then, who wouldn't? Such fun. Shame Merry didn't kiss Gimli and compare beards. That might have been interesting... | |

| Great story, Llinos - and very funny! I would have liked to see Boromir's face just after Pippin kissed him! A very nice tradition, although you have to get accustomed to it (if you are a lad, I mean). One last question: Of course I know the song "The twelve days of Christmas". But I come from Germany and so I would like to know if there is a special tradition for the twelvth day of Christmas where you live (the U.K. I think). Is there a bonfire? Or some kissing? That would be lovely :) | |
