*sits in shocked silence* By the Valar, that was...unexpected. Intense, grim. But it was good writing. ~Calenlass Author Reply: Thank you. Good reviews mean a lot to struggling writers. I appreciate yours. :)

A most plausible outcome. Maybe one day I'll write my own follow-up to my story, but it's an honor to see that it has so sparked the imaginations of others. Thanks, SeekHim. Author Reply: You're welcome. Coming from a brilliant writer like you that means a great deal :) And I'm not even done yet. I'm planning a series of drabbles about Sam the Ringbeaerer,(With your permission of course)if nothing else than to show what happens to him in Mandos.

Very chilling and well written. Author Reply: Thank you very much. We fan artists often don't get much feedback, so the ones we do get are even more valuable. :)

Whoa! But Sam would feel like a corpse after killing half of his own heart and soul by killing his beloved Frodo. Thank God indeed that this didn't happen! Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thank you. :)

Okay, yes that does sort of tidy up the loose end! Not having read the original story I can still see where Sam, as loyal and steadfast as he has been made to appear in the books and fan fic would do this. Grief and guilt can make you do strange things! Lynda Author Reply: Thank you very much. I'm glad to see some think I've done good portrayals.
