| Love this look at how the Sea Longing even struck one whose very nature is almost antithecal against such a thing. But he, also, was consuming lembas during the quest, and has one he loves within the Undying Lands and another going there--and he is welcome now. The Dwarvish Elvellon! Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed this story, Larner :-) I always felt Dwarves were affected/touched by things in life more than they let on, and Gimli certainly was exposed to much more of the wonders of Middle-earth than most Dwarves.
