“Using ‘bloody’ again, sir?”

LOL!!! Somehow I like a swearing Ringbearer! Maybe it's because he seldom looses his temper.

And I liked Gandalf here! He would make a good Sherlock Holmes ;-)

Thank you for posting!

Author Reply: Thank you for reading and responding, Andrea :-)

I like a Frodo with a bit of grit, I'm glad you did too. I agree about Gandalf.

"Then I will retire to my chambers with a novice level book of instruction in doing proper examinations of patients." *giggles*
Usually, when Aragorn is depicted doing something healerly, he tends to be described as the second best Healer ever. The best, of course, being Elrond. Seeing him screw up is, ahem, unusual. :-)

Author Reply: Very true, but no one is perfect. If Frodo isn't, Aragorn needn't be either. ;-) I'm glad you enjoyed the story, Sunny!

I love this--shades of trying to put a simple bench together! Heh!

Poor Frodo--not precisely the handyhobbit here, between lack of experience and missing a finger!

Author Reply: I'm sure the missing finger didn't help. I think most of us see him as not very handy with tools, other than the ones used for writing ;-)

Thank you, Larner!
