I like how most of your stories have this light that comes from their hands touching, I think it's very beautiful and sweet. So glad I am not the only non-slash Frodoandsam-holic. All the other Frodoandsam-holics seem to ship them, which is just so sad... :-( Author Reply: Thanks! Sad indeed. I was warned before I got into fic that it was all slash and I thought, what am I going to do. I wanted to read more than just the Red Book. I was very glad to find that my friend was wrong and there were many others that loved them as they should be loved. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Wow what a beautiful fic~ i love Sam h/c and the love that Frodo had for Sam is described very well in here and it was so touching how Frodo called Sam in the end. Thanks for this-- we need to see a bit more Frodo caring for Sam fics since they're so rare. Thank you for this! I enjoyed reading it a lot. :) ::favorites:: =) Author Reply: Thank you very much! So glad you enjoyed! *hugs* Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

A wonderful h/c in which Frodo is the instrument of the comfort for a change--a comfort Sam deeply needs and accepts. And their Lights are being used.... Love Mrs. Grooch's POV. Lovely, Antane. Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear Larner! Glad you enjoyed! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

it was as though he was shining just for Mr. Sam then, so he could find his way back Oh my, what a lovely image. Poor Sam, but I think Frodo needed to "be needed" like this. Thank you for this gift to us, Antane. Author Reply: And thank you for reading! I didn't think I would attract you since it was so angsty but here you are - very cool! :) *hug* Namarie, God bless, Antane

Oh, Antane, how wonderful to see something else from you!! :) Awww, poor Sam! So sick...I can sympathize. Ugh. And bless Frodo for being his dear self. I love Mrs. Grooch! You've developed quite a loveable character here with this one short story. I love the way she sees them and her observations about them, and her words at the end about love to Frodo. That was perfect. The lullaby was beautiful, Antane! Boy, you're better off writing your own than getting them from me; sometimes I look back at some of my poor things and just groan. But this one is truly lovely. It just begs for music. (May I try? To compose a tune, I mean. Pretty please with goodies on top? :) I may not be able to after all, but...) And I love the theme of the wind and how you wove it in and used that symbolism there. That wsas really excellent, touching in a quiet way. And I love, love, love the ending. That was the absolutely perfect way to close the story. Thank you for this wonderful birthday gift, my dear. *hugs* God bless, Galadriel :) Author Reply: Well, you know where the idea for Sam being sick came from, don't you, ammelda? :) And what an honor that you loved the lullaby! *bows in gratitude to the mistress of lullabies* Of course, you are still better, but I did like it some myself and of course, you may set it to music and of course, send it to me when you are done, complete with angelic voice if possible. Do not ever think you have to beg for permission! I wanted it to be that it was God Who was the other Power that Frodo sensed, but our dears not knowing their Creator, he couldn't identify Him properly, but then again God is Love. I liked the idea of the wind too. :) *hugs back* Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)
