Ha! More likely than she knows... Thanks for writing!

I love the chemistry between these two!

Author Reply: Thanks. Would this be the type of chemisty that involves a lot of explosions?

This is interesting . The irrisistable object meets the imoveable force LOL.

Author Reply: You know, that's a perfect way of describing the situation.

Thanks!

How old is she? Why didn't she want any mirover? Why is she so stuborn? I would think she would appreciate the help.

Author Reply: No one's really sure how old she is; even her.

Most people would be very grateful for the help and very happy to be alive. This one sees things in a different light.

Thank-you for reviewing.

Great start . One question . Was "sent to make certain heeded the Judge's call"
A typo? I thought there should be a (she) in there somewhere?

Author Reply: You are absolutely right, thank-you. I've fixed the mistake.

Thanks for reviewing and for letting me know about the error.

"In a state of abject horror, she pictured the rest of her life as one, long, frustrating negotiation with a polite, seemingly naïve, utterly implacable Elf."

ROTFLMAO!! Haleth, I am enjoying this immensely! She's such an endearing, crabby little woman.

Author Reply: Thanks Medea. Poor Haleth. She just wants to be left alone in her bitterness, but no, that was to much to ask. Now she's got this..this...incredibly good looking, pesky Elf dogging her steps (or anticipating them.)

All right, now I want to know what he's doing there in the first place.

Author Reply: That's a very good question, isn't it?

"Please bury my boots with me."

She just makes me laugh so hard! And I love how stubborn she is about dying and how stubborn he is about her not dying. Hehe.

Author Reply: And I love how stubborn she is about dying and how stubborn he is about her not dying.

It becomes a recurring theme. She thinks she's about to die. He saves her. she wishes she were dead and considers murdering him. They have an interesting relationship.

"It seemed like an extremely inauspicious way to make someone's acquaintance."

LMAO! Haleth, the characterization of those two is such a hoot.

Author Reply: Thank-you, Medea. Inglor has a talent for understatement. He even manages it when he's (relatively speaking) alone.

Thank you for this chapter I find it highly amusing that Haleth as she calls herself was out foxed by Inglor, you have made her and him so mysterious as to who and how they came to be, Thankyou for letting us see how they met but darn it I want more, as I always do, they are such good characters they alsmost seem real. Hugs The Imp and Merry Christmas

Author Reply: Thank-you, Elfingimp. I hope your Christmas was merry. Sorry about all of the annoying mystery. There are ideas for a few other stories. I just need to get out the cattle prod of encoouragement and write them properly.

Thanks again and I hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year.
