| Oh dear! I have neglected yer story and poor Paladin is having such a rough time of it too!! Maybe if i read faster life will get better? Hmm perhaps not, but this was a very insightful chapter into what it must be like for the overworked dear. And to think, that position is pippins future! Mayhap there won't be dark times during pippins reign. Big Huggles deary!! |

| I like very much the way you've chosen to illustrate the take-over of the Shire by showing it to us from the point of view of the hobbits experiencing it "in the moment" in that it's not exactly sudden and dramatic but rather gradual yet with bad feeling attached all the way. I'm curious to read on and see if there will be more interaction between Paladin and his sister. I'd be interested to see them come together on their thoughts. |
