Oh,
this was so sweet...and so very Sam! Poor Frodo, missing his parents.
Very insightful and well-written. I enjoyed it.

Oh, what a sweet story, and so nice after a tearjerker (your other one)! This is quite original, and I may say, perhaps, that it is my favorite I've ever read, though I do like some others very well. Typically these stories, to me, at least, are either a mass of overdone sweetness or just not enough. (More often the former, to be very honest.) You have a nice blend here; the whole scene comes alive. Frodo with his teenaged (or tweenaged) embarrassment at being caught crying, and little Sam is *such* a *darling*! :) But a darling in a different way than most little Sams one meets in this beautiful world of fanfic. I love the end too. :)

I don't write much fic any more (and don't have too much on my page worth reading, I dare say, though I was and am all about Sam-And-Frodo too :)), but love reading as much as ever and I so look forward to more from you!
God bless,
Galadriel

P.S. For another wonderful and very well-done Frodo and Sam story, if you haven't already read it, check out "For Eyes to See as Can" by Larner.

Author Reply: You're spoiling me, talking like this! : ) Thanks for the review, and the rec. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Oh, this is sweet! I can hug you too... And explaining all about being two - though that's going to become one in the best way. And the soul of Sam was knit to the soul of Frodo... Thanks for liking my website too!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

So precious! Little Sam is the greatest. This is an entertaining and different way for the hobbits to meet. Can't be improved. Love, Neilia

Author Reply: *blush* You're too kind. Thanks!

Sam threw back his shoulders. "He ain't gonna be one no more," he said firmly. "I won't let him."

What a heartwarming story. Dear Sam... his simple truths and wide-open heart can "fix" just about anything. And I love how he sees the intricate garden as "overwhelmingly wonderful".

A nice introduction between the two of them! Ah, the logic of the Gamgees is irrefutable! Heh!

Author Reply: It is at that! Thanks!
