To See A World  by Nightwing 6 Review(s)

Hmmmmm! Interesting! I really liked it. I would certainly not consider this conversation between Aragorn and Legolas to be whining. We all find ourselves floundering, searching for the right path, searching for our courage when we've lost someone or something. I found myself thinking about how I would feel if I lost my hearing or my ability to walk or speak.

Rats! Lunch hour is over. Time to go back to work. I would gladly offer a few thoughts about the blindness stuff, but I don't want you to think I'm knitpicking. I'll write those in a private e-mail if you really want to read my rambling. Keep up the great work!

I am thoroughly enjoying this story - and I'm frankly mesmerized with this plot of Legolas and Aragorn trapped in this cabin over the winter with the ominous threat of the men in the city (and their belligerance of strangers and elves) hanging over them. I haven't a clue where this is headed, which is rather nice, since I usually tend to figure out the outcome way ahead of time. I'm totally in the dark on this one and thus you have me riveted - I anxiously anticipate each and every update!

Thanks for the great read and looking forward to the next chapter...

P.S. Love that cat!! Seems so apropos having a cat take so to Legolas.

Yes, Legolas is indeed brave to get up every morning and go about his business. So many people think that courage is puffing up and smacking the bejezus out of someone else, but it isn't. It's staring a tragedy smack in the face, pulling up the bootstraps and walking through it. You gotta admire Legolas for doing that, and you gotta admire Aragorn for sticking with him.

It would indeed be lovely to be a cat. To be smart, swift and beautiful, and so stylish that you don't need to do anything besides lounge around all day and hunt mice.

I am very sorry that I've not given you a review before now...I've had your story downloaded for quite a while - ever since I read "The Healer" and was absolutely riveted by the quality and intensity of that story. After promptly writing everyone I knew and telling them they absolutely HAD to read it, I then located your second story and downloaded it to my PC. But RL has gotten in the way and I only recently got back to it and started reading it...I've done myself a terrible injustice letting it sit idle for so long! This story is at least as riveting - if not more so - than your previous story and I have been totally immersed in it. So of course, I was thoroughly pleased to see an update and decided it was about time I let you know just how much I've been enjoying this story. You are an astonishingly good writer and I'm to the point now that if I see "Nightwing," I'm going to read, no questions asked!! You have done a marvelous job of building on the hinted relationship between Aragorn and Legolas that Peter Jackson has given us glimpses of, and I'm wondering if you've also used the created history of Cassia and Siobhan (of which I think is fantastic) from which to extrapolate more. In either case, you've still managed to keep the two "true to themselves," while inventing a depth of relationship that seems like Tolkien could have written it! I love it and once again, I feel a very great need to write everyone I know and implore them to start reading this story!! Last time, I got replies telling me "It was fantastic! I couldn't put it down!!" and I have no doubt but that the reaction will be the same.

Anyway, just wanted you to know that your work is very much appreciated and I'm very anxious to see how this story will resolve. I ache for Legolas and you've elicited quite a bit of "anxiety" from me - I hope you realize the power you authors wield over your readers!!! LOL!

Thanks for the great read!
