This was delightful! I didn't know there was such a debate - but I liked it much! Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this.

Ah, am giggling over this one, particularly as the PJ films have made Aragorn's scruffiness to much a part of our current image of the poor man! Well, he's done well by himself, and no mistake, this young servant who was so frightened at first. And love Boromir and Faramir here. Author Reply: Hee hee, thanks! It's quite fun to look back at the hesitant, unsure youth he was to the quietly competent, indispensible help he became through the years. I'm glad you liked the closing drabble! Another reviewer commented that it seemed out of place but I liked Denethor's salute to Mormegil, even if it was only in the bosom of his family.

Ugh. I can't abide oysters! But this is a very nice little tale. Legolas and Gimli are perfect! Author Reply: Oysters, like liver or steak and kidney pie, seem to be something that people have very strong opinions about. Thanks for reading and commenting, despite the slimy subject of the story!

I don't remember reading this one before, Ann. Wonderful--as long as I don't have to eat them, too! Heh! Author Reply: Haha, thank you! I'm not sure why people are so funny about oysters - my poor beta had to steel herself before she could even read the story.

Excellent! I was particularly taken with how Mormegil's job in the Archives led to his employment as Denethor's valet. Author Reply: Thank you! Good thing he had those tranferable skills, isn't it?

I've never yet tasted oysters, but they certainly seem to delight many people! This might be one of Gimli's most courageous moments. :) Author Reply: Hee! Yes, that first taste does take a certain amount of fortitude, doesn't it? Good for Gimli1 Thank you for reading and commenting.
