Ah, MOST satisfying, Primsong. Bombur, the King of the Table, eating his sceptre, shall remain with me delightedly! Wonderful! Yes, wonderful! And bless our Bilbo as well for his plain Hobbit sense! Thanks for a delightful read!

*grin* What a perfectly hobbity ending for this! Good old Bilbo, helped Bombur to put everything into perspective! I loved the Dwarves' shocked reaction to "hang the expense!", LOL! Live and let live really is a hobbit philosophy, and now that Bombur and his relatives have learned it, perhaps things will be a bit more peaceable. And the feast at the end was wonderful!

So the tables turn on Bifur and Bofur but their faces are still saved amiably by Bombur and Bilbo; Bilbo gives most excellent and hobbity advice; and Bombur thinks for himself... hang the expense! The gaping and mutterings of the Companions were witty and giggle-kindling. And I love that this finished with a good meal – it couldn't have a more perfect ending. I enjoyed this a lot. Thanks! : ) -Kitt

This was a delightfully funny story from front to back, beginning to end, alpha to omega, bacon to buns. I loved Bilbo's part in it - as always - he was the one blamed. I shouldn't have been the least bit surprised. Thanks ofr sharing this, Prim, it was fun!

uh, oh. I'm afraid Bombur's Diet is going to come to a screeching halt...and he really needs to lose some weight! Well, I guess I have to wait to see what Bilbo has in mind. Hugs, Neilia

Aha! A hobbity solution for a Dwarf's problem! I can't wait to see what our clever Mr. Baggins has come up with!

Poor miserable Bombur! At least he has Bilbo, who is actually compassionate. Indeed, his cousins had better not have eaten all his food - what hypocrites they'd be. (Tsk, and Bombur shouldn't talk with his mouth full.) So what is Mr. Baggins' plan here? I'm eager to find out...

Oh dear! Poor Bombur--he's forgotten, hasn't he, that he asked his cousins to help him with his fitness program. And talk about Grumpy! *tsk-tsk-tsk!* I wonder--will the others persist? Will Bombur succeed? Or will dealing with his grouchiness just get to be too much for them! I do love the way Bilbo is just quietly observing everything--I was quite tickled at his fascination with Bombur's fat, LOL!

Poor Bombur. Dieting is such a necessary nuisance. He is fortunate to have so many 'helpers' and 'minders'. :D Hugs, Neilia
