Any with any compassion had to just about die at this scene... You capture it very well....

But all of you are are lost to me in this unreality - typo?

Wow - the hands of the king - I love you bringing that in! It gives such meaning to the Houses of Healing chapter!

One little quibble - should my blad burn be my blade burns?

Excellent poem.

Oh my goodness! Utter terror! You've captured it well.

What I love most is the 3rd stanza... not only for the words, but for the formatting... it carries the 'feel' of the poem into new depths!

Great job!

As always, your poetry astounds me! The sense of evil, doom, and utter darkness pervades.

And It took him....
