| I must agree, Ioreth was one of the best minor characters Tolkien created. I love how you've portrayed her. I can almost hear her spreaking as I read this story. You utilized first person perspective fabulously. Writing in first person I think is a special talent because it requires an author to really know the character who is narrating the story, and you did a great job with it. I haven't read a whole lot of stories that have Ioreth as a main character, and it was nice to see her used as the narrator. I bet The Wise Woman had a whole bunh of great stories to tell. A job well done! | |

| The Houses of Healing is definitely one of my favorite chapters as well – mostly for Ioreth. This was a fun idea. You do her voice so well; it feels precisely how it would be to talk with her: no words in myself. It had a cozy feeling, really. And Aragorn is wonderful. : ) -Kitt | |

| I agree with you that Ioreth is a fascinating character, who saw (and gossiped about!) so many things the people she spoke with would never have known about, if not for her. Her respect for the new king might have convinced many folk to give him a chance. | |
