Oh, what a lovely tale! :) I adored every word of it even as it brought me close to tears as well as the smiles it engendered. I can just see Frodo with the paintbrush and the dust cloth and rejoicing over the wonder of the new little faunt about to join the family. I giggled at the "argument" about whether it is a boy or a girl that he and Sam exchanged, and I was touched by the bit about Rose realizing that there were parts of her husband and her husband's brother-friend which she would never be able to understand or touch because she was outside of that shared experience. Wonderful! Author Reply: Thank you so much! I am honored that you were so touched by it! *hugs* Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Ah, the second sweet surprise today! :) Brother and sister woke me up this morning with singing and the most delicious pancakes ever made, and now this! I can hardly contain myself! Hobbitlike all round. Frodo and Sam subtly arguing over whether it's going to be a lad or a lass...too cute! And young Frodo having used a crib as a teething tool...my my my, what an enterprising youngster! LOL! Hope it's not really as painful as it sounds...though I know teeth coming in is infinitely worse. Love all the "nesting" involved here, so cozy! Thank you, dear! *hugs* God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed, ammelda! Hope your day was wonderful and your year will be even better! Well, you've got to relieve the teething pain somehow, don't you? :) *hugs right back* Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :)

There was contentment and if becoming an uncle was what did it, Sam would fill the Shire with children so his Frodo would always be happy. This is a beautiful story, just brimming with love. Each envisions a different future, but they'll be together again at last. I love how Sam and Frodo are both insisting they know the gender of the coming child! What a fun tease between them. Author Reply: They were never truly apart and that is the beauty of such love. I liked that sentence too. :) As far as the teasing, it could well be that Frodo really knew while Sam was just wishing and hoping. :) So glad you came by to feast on this! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
