Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow ...  by Jay of Lasgalen 9 Review(s)
Mysterious JediReviewed Chapter: 1 on 11/22/2008
This brought a smile to my face. Elladan is a very good brother.

Oh, VERY nice, Jay! Love the show of solidarity--and the plans to continue befuddling folks as they can! Bless them both!

Author Reply: Thank you!

I think it's a mixture of solidarity, guilt (for breaking a promise, however necessary) and continuing twinship :)

Cute... Elladan was being very suportive indeed, to shave his head as well so Elrohir wouldn't feel as bad. I wonder what is next for them... And how did he fall from the roof, I always have wondered...

Update soon...

Author Reply: I'm not sure *how* Elrohir fell off the roof; they haven't told me that yet. But he shouldn't have been up there in the first place ...

That is quite funny.

what a lovely way to show sympathy. I think itīs Elladanīs way to compensate his guilty conscience. Love it! Lai

Author Reply: I think it's a mixture of guilt and sympathy, and a need to still look identical!

Thank you - I'm glad you liked this.

Now that was a funny & charming read. I'm not mad at Elrohir, I'd be a bit cantankerous if my head was shaved too (although nowadays, I'd probably blend right in). As much as I love my sis, maybe I'll just lend her a new dress if she gets ill.
Thanks for the lovely bed time story. (11:00 pm NYC time LOL)

Elrohir knows that Elladan *had* to tell Elrond, but he's still annoyed. Of course, he'd have done the same thing ...

I think this is Elladan's way of saying 'sorry'!

Oh, what a brotherly thing to do, good for Elladan!
A good job he 'told' on him though, concussion is not a thing to mess with!
A bit like my daughter's two at the moment, one of her twins celebrated her 3rd birthday by getting hold of Mom's scissors and giving herself a haircut and cutting her thumb, necessitating a trip to the Emergancy room to superglue it!
She is fine and it is a lot eaisier to tell them apart now!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: I think this was Elladan's way of showing support - and also apologising for his 'betrayal'!

Children - my son once drew on his sister's head with a marker pen. And she sat still and let him do it!

LOL. Good for Elladan! Who needs that annoying hair anyway?

Author Reply: Well, Elladan has to show his support somehow! I see them both with half a shaven head here - but still matching, of course.

That's adorable, and so full of love.

Author Reply: Thank you!

Poor Elrohir. He needs love and support here - and what better way to show support than by shaving the head?
