It is fun to have things from your childhood to share w little nieces and nephews (or cousins, or whatever)... :-)

Author Reply: It's fun to imagine Aragorn's childhood, and what playthings he might have enjoyed.

Author Reply: Ooops, sorry about that first response, I was thinking of a different story! Wee Frodo had to have been a sweet child, and it's lovely to imagine when his life was so innocent.

(A better imitation of poor Drogo’s snoring he had never heard.) LOL

I'll bet Frodo was a very cute little bear. I do like that Bilbo *had* a sheep costume as another option though. hehehe Maybe next year...

Adorable as always!

Author Reply: I thought it would be fun for Frodo to imitate a sound he heard quite often! Yes, perhaps the Year of the Sheep is yet to come. Thanks, GW!

Another 'Aw!' Loved sleepy Frodo in Bilbo's arms.

Author Reply: I love that image, too! Thank you. :)

I love wee Frodo! :) *hugs him* And the sounds he made and his excitement over being in the story chair. What a delightful place to be for a delightful lad. Thank you, dear shirebound! *hugs you too*

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: I'm so happy you enjoyed this. I think Bilbo would adore a little lad who loved his stories, and had such a good imagination. *hugs you back*

This was so sweet - I love Bilbo and Frodo tales, and Primula is always lovely.
Little Frodo is very stubborn, isn't he? He will make such a cute little bear too.

Delightful, Shirebound!

Author Reply: Thank you! I was amazed to realize that after all these years and stories, I can't remember ever writing wee!Frodo before. I like to imagine Bilbo being very charmed by him.

This is quite beautiful and tender!

I loved Frodo sounding like his father's snoring. Just was at storytime the other day with the grandbaby and they read a tale called 'Scary' that ended up with the 'monster' noises that scared the kid being his dad's snoring!

Lovely little bits and pieces throughout that give it such a feeling of warmth and reality - good reality - of memorable times past - thought upon with love.

Thanks for sharing.

Author Reply: Awww, thank you. Hobbit-tales, especially gentle ones, truly make me feel warm and content. I'm so happy the love shines through.

Wonderful, shirebound. I loved Bilbo having his old costumes. I needed this bright spot, thank you!

Author Reply: Awwww, I'm so glad this was a cheer-up, Pearl. Hobbits to the rescue once again.

“Bear,” said Frodo stubbornly.

LOL!!! So young but already very stubborn ;-)

If little Frodo likes to be a bear than he shall be one. But what will Grey Wonderer say that he denied the sheep?

I enjoyed this story a great deal. Thank you very much.

Author Reply: *gasp* What WILL Grey Wonderer say? Oh dear, I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps she'll realize that Frodo is only four, and has yet to realize the Wonder that is Sheep.

I'm glad you enjoyed this! :)

Awwwwwwwwwwww! That was sweet!, I always felt sorry for Bilbo,he looked to me to be lonely but he did have such adventures didn't he? Hugs The Imp

Author Reply: Thank you, Imp! I like to imagine Bilbo living as busy a life as he chose to, keeping an eye on the relatives of whom he was most fond. :)
