Wow, this is really powerful. I haven't read a story about this subject before, and it was interesting to read. I feel you captured the character's emotions well, lots of great things here. I liked your take on this.

A heartrending story which greatly impressed me when I read it at ALEC.

Oh, Eomer, better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all. I am glad you realized that later. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

A very touching story! I cried through much of it, but was left with a sense of hope... and, fortunately, we do know that both Éomer and Éowyn found love... eventually. Well done, Alassante! - Barbara

One typo: Éomer eyes were full[...] Beautiful story. I was going to vote, but in the end I was having a hard time deciding, and and gave up... Love this paragraph: “The moments you spend with those you love are all that makes this life worth living, child. Do not renounce love. I do not regret one moment spent loving those I have lost. Denying yourself this love will create emptiness in your heart that you will seek forever to fill. Love is what makes us different from the evil we fight in these lands.” True words, and a touching story. ~Cal
