Such a beautyful story!I felt too what Eowyn must have done. My heart aches but at the same time it feels relief of finally Having seen someone so dear to Faramir.Im sure Eowyn and Finduilas would have loved each other despite their differences. Indeed it must be so good for Faramirs sake to know that his mother and father too loved him though jnfortunately he didnt show it much it seems. Dear Faramir... he always was one of my favourite charachters, he deserved so much more. Luckily you write about him what we get too little of in the books and movies though he married Eowyn- namely his happiness!

Great little tale Linda. Would have liked to see a little more of her fight to come back to Faramir and her children.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed the story.I fear my Muses didn't give me any more details.I can only imagine Eowyn's fight would be similiar to Faramir's in the dark vale.

Interesting conversation between Faramir's wife and his mother; it works well here, sort of an interlude between life and death. Hopefully Faramir will have a better relationship with his son than his father had with him.

Excellent conclusion to the story!

I'm glad Éowyn decided to stay. She had great reason to, and no I didn't find this chapter scary at all, just very enjoyable.

Beautiful! And so right that Finduilas should be as glad to see her remain as to come with her.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed my story.I think Finduilas wants her son's happiness above all else.

This story was so powerful and amazing. I loved the concept and liked how you portrayed the spirit. It felt more believable than some glimmery see through thing floating about. I loved Finduilas' explination of Faramir's relationship with his father, and why it was the way it was. This was just amazing, and something new and unexpected from you.

I could also appreciate that you didnt get too detailed about what ailed Eowyn, that part worried me a bit. But I was pleasantly surprised. You made a wise choice in not being graphic with that. Someties graphic works for medical things, but not others, just in my opinion. But even so, it still had every bit as much of an impact. This was really well written.

I couldn't find any typos, but was mainly reading for the plot and characters, an all of that was well done and believable.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review, again my first. Raksha and I have often discussed why Faramir and his father were not close and this seemed the most plausible explanation.

I was originally planning to be more specific about what ailed Eowyn, but am glad you like what I decided.

I'm delighted you liked this.
