Sweetly gentle. To meet her future beloved in such a dream, at a time when such comfort is so needed! Wonderful!

Which story inspired this one? I think I want to read it now after reading this one. I don't usually read Arwen stories, because most of them have her crying and gettinig mad at Elrond, but this one doesn't and is beautfiul!

Ainu, that's an interesting idea, to send Estel to Arwen to cheer her up at this time of mourning. I was wondering the whole time if it's a ghost, but considering the end, it seems to have been more like a dream or sort of a vision. But no matter what it was in the end, it worked very well, and it is lovely to think Estel was able to somehow get to her so long before he was truly born to help her over her sorrow.

What a unique and intriguing premise. I was drawn into it, and it made me smile to think it might have happened like this.

For once, you had me wondering where you were going to take us. A very imaginative story indeed. Who but Aragorn could lift Arwen's heart in that foresighted dream? I loved your pert, witty Aragorn. Besides, the ending is perfect, and the only one possible too. Congratulations

This was wondrous! Original idea + brilliant execution + allowing it to still be within canon (praise Irmo!) = exceedingly good. Aragorn was so artless in this whole exchange--just what Arwen needed, a glimpse of her future happiness. And the whole exchange regarding the word (or lack thereof) "impude" made me laugh. Thanks so much! ~Celeritas

A most unusual idea, very well done. You have to wonder at what Arwen thought of all Aragorn's long line of ancestors and how many of those fell for her too.

"Impude is not a real word" -- That is EXACTLY what I was thinking! :-) I really enjoyed your story!
