Healing the Healer  by Linda Hoyland 8 Review(s)

Hee hee hee! Aragorn's got the chicken pox!

This fic did make me realize something: since Aragorn was raised by elves, who don't get ill, it'd make a lot of sense for him not to get exposed to a good many of the diseases that most people deal with in their childhood.

I look forward to seeing how tough a patient he will be in time to come--right now he's just in the "denial" stages (at least as far as chicken pox goes). : D

And the title fits PERFECTLY! lol!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. You are spot on,Aragorn was too isolated as a child to have the usual ailments.I fear he is going to be a very tough patient! I'm pleased you like the title.

The timing on this is great Linda. My brother has the 'flu'. In other words a streaming cold to you or I and he sounds just like Aragorn! :)

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. Many always think every cold is "flu".I'm glad I got the timing right!

A grownup with a children's ailment is always amusing! I only hope he doesn't end up with any of the other problems likely to come with it! Heh!

Silly man!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I promise not to torment him too much!

LOL! Of course he would never have been exposed as a child to any other children's diseases! *shakes head*

Of course medical people are usually the world's worst patients...

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. That is Aragorn's problem, he was never with children when young.I'm pleased it made you smile.Aragorn is proving typical of medical people!

LOL!!! Oh I know it is wrong to laugh at him and Chicken Pox is not a minor ailment for an adult, but it is funny! I expect being isolated in Imlardris as he was, he was not exposed to a lot of childhood ailments, I wonder what is next, not Mumps I hope, that can cause sewllings in most inapropriate places, considering he and Arwen plan on having more children!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Don't worry he won't get mumps as I hope they will have more children too and have already written stories about their next one!I had chickenpox myself at the ripe old age of 39,so know it is no fun for Aragorn.

Oh dear, chickpox isn't going to go down well at all. I foresee lots more problems for the two carers before this clears up!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. You are quite right.I don't envy Arwen and Faramir at all!

Oh gods, Arwen is right - Aragorn really acts like a child *g*. I think she and Faramir are in for a hard time. Man and most of all healers are the worst patients. Like this story very much and I´m eager to see how our "poor and near dying" King will overcome this. Thank you Lai.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review > I agree poor Arwen and faramir are in for a very hard time.I'm delighted you are enjoying the story.

Uh-oh; Aragorn's in trouble now. Something tells me he's going to continue to be a very recalcitrant patient!

Good chapter; update soon!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review my only one so far of this chapter here.I fear Aragorn,Arwen and Faramir are all in for a hard time!
