Awww! So cute!

Author Reply: Monkeys can be cute, but can also be royal pains in the patoot! Heh!

What a naughty monkey!I feel sorry for the captain!

Author Reply: I agree, Linda--but he's just being true to being a monkey after all. As for the Captain--oh, I pity the man, too!

Cute! I can just see this. Somehow in my imagination your "mate" fits well with my "Third Mate"...

Author Reply: Am so glad you feel this one fits with yours. So glad you like it!

Oh well, what did they expect, with a monkey on board? They get everywhere and take what they want *grin*

Author Reply: Well, of course, Kitty! Am so glad monkeys and parrots were so often pets of sailors! Made it easier to get all the words into this one.

Ah, the monkey returns to another story! So perhaps I can hope, maybe, just maybe, a story of Frodo and the pendant? Pretty please? :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Yes, but a real one this time. As far as Frodo and the prism--perhaps one day.... We'll see where the next story leads you.

Brilliant use of "pendant" and "cookie."

Author Reply: Thank you so, eilu.

Author Reply: Stupid computer cut me off! Thank you so, eiluj. It was interesting to find out how to get all the words put in, and I find "cookie" is a hard one to fit in at times.

I am just trying to visualise the Captain trying to get the letter back out of the hole! Ha! Reminds me of an advert on our TV currently for baby pain medication. It shows a toddler gaily stuffing a ten pund not down a crack in the floor boards.

Author Reply: I agree--getting that letter out of the violin will be difficult! And I remember with pleasure a small shoe found in between the inner and outer wall of a Roman-period villa near York. I imagine this Roman-Britain young matron asking her child, "Where is your shoe, darling?" and the little kid, one finger in his mouth, pointing to the hole in the wall, and the mother saying, "You put it WHERE????" I love that shoe! It shows little kids haven't changed in two thousand years!

More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: Yes, Lynda--today it worked! Hope I can keep it up! And still made it in 150 words!
