Wherever the Prompt Might Lead  by Larner 9 Review(s)

Energy in bottles? Now, that's an idea! But I know how they feel. Some weeks ago I had friends staying over with their two years old daughter - three adults were just enough to keep her out of mischief!

Hm, Frodo got a violin? No, somehow I can see him singing and dancing, but not really playing the violin.

Author Reply: It can be wearing, dealing with an energetic young child who's full of curiosity, and I can just see Pippin as that type of child! Nor can I see Frodo as a violinist--but I do have that blessed word to fit into the story, so SOMEONE had to get one! Heh!

Thanks, Kitty.

Awww Pippin!

And we see the treasures again.

Author Reply: Yup! At least a few! Heh! And young Pippin must have been a handful!

A delightful glimpse of young Pippin.

Author Reply: Oh, and I so agree! Thanks so much, Linda!

I would pay a lot for a bottle of Pippin-energy. *grin* On second thoughts, I don't need any as all I need is to harness a bit of Jet-power. He is missing the Boss and is constantly pestering me for attention. I am having to type one handed.

Author Reply: Oh, I bet he is missing your dad! The dalmatian when she's feeling ignored can be SO persistent, as can my tomcat!

And some days we'd all love some youthful energy again! Heh!

Rather neatly got round "cookie" this time. What fun!

Author Reply: Well, he's young enough I felt it was worth a go! Heh!

Thanks so!

oh, no, don't sink, Frodo dear! :)

Author Reply: Heh! Oh, he'll stay afloat for a time yet--but holidays with lots of small children about can be stressful!

Still getting them in and still telling a story! Yay!!!
Keep them coming,
Lynda

Author Reply: I managed, although I kept having to trim out descriptors to keep to a hundred fifty words.

Thanks, Lynda.

"I feel like a rowboat with a hole in it sinking just short of the wharf."

Boy, I can relate to that, this time of year! Another good ficlet!

Author Reply: Oh, don't I know, Cairistiona. And dealing with Paladin and Eglantine's four as well as Merry and whatever other children are at the Yule party at the farm at Whitwell (or at the Great Smials) I suspect they've worn poor Frodo out!

Thank you.

Oh dear! So Pip will bring an end to the poor monkey!

A nice little interlude back in the Shire! How many more of these are to go? And how long will your word list be by the end?

Author Reply: Well, as it's an Advent project, it shall continue to the twenty-fourth. Seven more words to add by the time we're done!

And I suspect Pippin will be the end of Isengar's stuffed monkey, as rambunctious as the child is. Heh!

Author Reply: Correction--NINE more words. GADS!
