| I always enjoy it when a chapter is done from the point of view of a background character, and you gave this one some depth, which was nice. Dûrlin is pretty much my favorite original character, and I really enjoyed giving him depth in this situation. He has a part to play in future chapters, as well. | Oh! What a beautiful chapter. Your portrayal of Durlin's loyalty and love for Boromir was perfect. And the hand to the mouth -- I wanted to weep with him. No comfort for the servant. No hand upon the shoulder to steady him. Well done. | |
