Coastal Tales  by Linda Hoyland 3 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 4 on 9/10/2009
Oh, I'm so glad he managed to get in a tale of Hobbits! And they certainly needed to get away from protocol to a time of delightful tales such as this. And am glad Faramir got to hear the laughter rather than more poetry recited badly. Heh!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I think it would do Aragorn and Faramir good to spend more time with young children.

I liked the original vignette very much, and this extended version even more. You painted a most charming and captivating portrait or Aragorn entertaining the small children. As I've always imagined Aragorn as someone who loved children was good with them, I was, of course, most delighted with this story.

This was so incredibly cute! I really liked the image of Aragorn telling stories to all the children--a far better use of classroom time than meager recitation, if you ask me!
