| I hadn't realised how far I had fallen behind with this. Some delightful chapters here. I very much like the idea of Adamanta building herself a smial. If she took on the body of a hobbit, it needs a proper hobbit home! And yet this reflects a different world, one not as provincial as the Shire, but where folks of all size mix. Nicely done. Author Reply: Yes, this hole reflect the place she lives now; not the Vale, or even the Shire, but a place where her hobbit-self can live in comfort while accommodating guests of other sizes. | |

| In other words: A smial in which hobbits and elves can live comfortably. A great idea! She will have lots of guests. Author Reply: Yes-- she knows she will have Elven guests as well as Bilbo and Frodo, so she has planned accordingly. | |
